Born in 2019, the karry carrasco foundation is a dream come true that came from the need of our family to participate in a direct way in the fight against poverty that many families suffer every day globally regardless of the region or culture. Having a birth origin in a third world country allowed us to understand first hand the needs and possibilities at hand to reach our goal of provide with the basics wherever we can with the support of helping hands ready to give.

Today our organization is achieving the above objectives through multiple family-oriented activities, such as the delivery of food, clothing and household items in various communities around the world, each of which has been achieved thanks to volunteers, project donors and partners. who have participated with great satisfaction in each event we have held. That is why our organization is open to any source of support to achieve the purpose for which it was created.

Much can be said about a person but their daily actions are the ones that have the best expression of their individual value, that is the case of Mrs. Karelis Carrasco.

Born in Maracaibo Venezuela from an Italian father and a Venezuelan mother,  married to MLB Starting Pitcher for the New York Mets, Carlos Carrasco with whom she procreated 5 beautiful children.

She is the founder of The Karry Carrasco Foundation that along with the Carlos Carrasco Foundation try to help raise funds and awareness for Early Childhood Development and alleviate the harsh conditions in the live of many children in the world. Among her work and achievements she Created language education programs for children with Autism 2000-2005, Involved in various charitable organizations throughout Tampa Bay, Florida, has been the first Venezuelan woman who walked across the Colombian-Venezuelan border along site the Venezuelan walkers in their desperation to reach a better life, Vice-president of Casa Venezuela Tampa Bay, Contributing Platinum Sponsor Valentines for Veterans benefit Gala for the special Forces
Chapter IX, won the Dignified Woman Award by AnaVenUSA for helping Venezuela’s Mujeres Dignas del Estado Bolivar by Claritza Coraspe, In 2018 was awarded the Premio Enfoque for best foundation, was recognized with the Hispanic Leadership Class of 2018 Award by the
Tampa Hispanic Heritage Inc as a Hispanic Who Has Excelled in Her Performance in the
Field of Education, in 2019 was awarded El Corazon Del Pueblo Award for her contribution of helping children with cancer and humanitarian work in favor of the Venezuelan people.

Regarding her education she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Psychology at College University Monsignor de Talavera in Venezuela, Post Graduate Degree in Professional Autism Education at Jose Maria Vargas University, Validated Degree in the U.S. at Miami Date College, 1 year Studies at the Intellectual Training Center among other levels of preparation.
